Cheyenne Children’s Museum coming 2024

The Vision

We’re building an engine to power the imagination and creativity of our children’s future.

The Cheyenne Children’s Museum is on a mission to spark creativity and ignite imaginations for all generations. From our science, technology, engineering, art, and math-based (STEAM) exhibits for young families to our flexible, rentable space for the community, we are dedicated to fostering collaboration and building a bright future.

Interactive

Exhibits

The museum itself is designed for young learners to explore on their terms with interactive, hands-on exhibits. Intended for toddlers to third graders, but engaging for older kids and adults as well, these exhibits build a foundation for STEAM-related learning in collaborative, communal environments. Incorporating aspects of Wyoming, they create a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else.

A capital investment in Wyoming’s capital city.

The vision to transform our community is only made possible by community and individual support. Based in two phases, we are excited to provide Cheyenne, the surrounding areas, and our out-of-state visitors a taste of the full vision to come.

Join us on a mission that sparks creativity and ignites imaginations for all.

Community

Space

Our flexible space is available to the community to inspire creativity and imagination—from classrooms for educational programming to craft carts for a convertible makerspace to the perfect place for a child’s birthday party. With indoor and outdoor opportunities, this same space can elevate to the ideal setting for fundraisers, hobbyist groups, board and corporate events, and small conferences, inspiring adults to think creatively too.

If future generations look back and say, “That was just the kind of place I needed as a kid” we will have done our job well.
