"In Wyoming, the best investments that can be made are in our children. Ensuring a successful transition from their formative years to preschool, kindergarten, and beyond will benefit everything in our future including healthcare, economic development, and education. Projects like the Children's Museum of Cheyenne provide a model where all of us can partner with families, school districts, businesses, and higher education. Our kids deserve many opportunities to fulfill their potential when it matters most: at the beginning."
Jillian Balow, WDE Superintendent
Children’s Museum of Cheyenne (CMC) will be a bold, inspiring, interactive facility to be located in downtown Cheyenne, the capital city of Wyoming. The Children’s Museum of Cheyenne will endeavor to incite confidence, creativity, and passion for learning for all who enter its doors. The CMC will be an awe-inspiring gathering place for children and families, schools, organizations, and community members alike. The CMC will be an unprecedented investment in future generations and will stand valiantly, both literally and figuratively, as an example of the extraordinary achievements of which Wyoming is capable.
At this time, 2018, Wyoming is at a precipice. The state is teeming with ideas and initiatives to diversify, and further develop, our state’s economy. The success of any of the state’s efforts to bolster our economy must and do rely on bold actions of its citizenry. The CMC is the epitome of this spirit of bold evolution and courageous pursuit for a better Wyoming. The CMC will, everyday, strive to instill in its patrons the excitement of entrepreneurial thinking, the thrill of personal accomplishment, and the comfort of personal belonging.
